RCV Counter
RCV Counter simulates hypothetical variations of a recent Cambridge election. The ranked choice system Cambridge uses relies on the ordering of ballots to reassign them when transferring between candidates, which means that changing the order of ballots can sometimes produce different outcomes.
This tool performs 5,000 simulations of the election with the ballots randomly shuffled before each run. Some candidates will win in for all ballot shuffles simulated are declared "Undefeated". Others will only win sometimes and are shown alongside the percent of the times they win.
